This piece was written for a seminar about performance art, taken during my doctoral studies.  Even though most of my music is rather conventional in nature, I have always had an interest in some types of avant garde styles, and I occasionally branch out and work in these genres.  I perform this piece as a solo, ritualistically drawing paint from my heart (red) and head (black) while accompanied by an atmospheric collage of snippets of my music.
