This short piece was written as part of a festschrift for Paul Fetler, in honor of his retirement from teaching at the University of Minnesota.  Each of his current students contributed a short piece to the festschrift.  All of the pieces were tied together by the same pitch motive, based on the music spelling of Dr. Fetler's name.  My piece begins as a dramatic fanfare, but quickly winds down to end in a soft, wistful manner.
